About Noms (Our Rating System)

In honor of the incredible irreplaceable Cookie Monster, our rating system is based on the number "noms" an eatery elicits. Think of nom as a unit of deliciousness. We rate eateries anywhere 0 noms all the way up to 4 noms.

0 noms: The food is hardly even food. We sure hope never  give this out, for no noms is sad noms indeed.

1 nom: Sure there is food. If you are hungry and need something to "nom" on, you could certainly go there. But if we give somewhere a nom, it might be best to avoid.

2 noms or "nom nom": Now this is food! A restaurant eliciting a nom nom is a decent establishment you should patronize if you're in the area and craving its particular cuisine, but don't be prepared to be blown away.

3 noms or "nom nom nom": Perhaps not worth a trip across town, but if you're in the area you best be trying these tasty eats.

4 noms or "nom nom nom nom": Though in happy moments this could quickly degenerate into a long string of nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom, but this is worth visiting Mount Pleasant or better yet making friends in the neighborhood so you can amass several excuses to visit, dine and enjoy.
